With Fall comes a lot of change. Some things for the good, some things for the worse. I promised you guys an update and I just want all of you to know that I'm skipping class just to post this. Not really, I just didn't want to do the homework... I'm such a bad person. Pictured above is ten things that I have fallen in love with since the beginning of the season. That dress makes my heart melt every time I look at it. xoxo.

Ten Retro Swimsuits
I'm not really sure who came up with the idea that it was okay for women to show off every single detail of their bodies. Who knows.. But I for one am not the kind of girl that likes to flaunt it to everyone at the beach. Something about "old-fashioned" swimwear seems so classy to me. Here are ten of my favorite styles.

Four* Things I Love Thursday: Healthy Living Edition
I like junk food just as much as everyone else, but there is something about all of those weird healthy foods that I just love. I love loose leaf tea, Especially from Teavana. Flax seed and granola are are my favorite ways to spice up common breakfast foods like oatmeal and yogurt. And green smoothies are good any day, any time.

Ten Things I love Thursday: Missouri State Edition
People are always asking me why I chose Missouri State University to continue my education. For a couple of months, I was debating between Missouri State, and Mizzou (University of Missouri). When it came down to it, I chose Missouri State primarily because I changed my major, and it wasn't offered at Mizzou. But after pondering the question for a while, there are so many other reasons that I'm glad I chose to be a bear.
1. Missouri State just finished the new recreation center. It is seriously so cool. It has an Olympic sized swimming pool, a zip-line that goes into the swim lanes, two rock walls, a fitness center, three basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, sauna, etc. I can not wait to get my workout on. 2. Everyone... well, not everyone.. but most students are so academically oriented. I found it so cool to walk into the library and see all these kids studying.
3. There is a Clinique counter in the bookstore... If that's not enough to make up your mind than I don't know what is. 4. The graduating rate is super high. over 70% of all incoming MSU freshman graduate within 4-5 years. That means seven out of ten students come as a bear, and leave as a bear.
5. I don't know anything about film, but the fact that my school holds a Film Festival just seems super awesome to me and I'm totally going. There is literally sooooo much to do at MSU. I only wish I had enough time to do everything. 6. I want that jacket... enough said.
7-8. Okay so my sister is pregnant. And I honestly can not wait to buy all kinds of adorable outfits for my niece to wear. Baby Charlea is going to be crawlin' in style.
9. Missouri State is notorious for their community service and volunteer work. Last year, they took hundreds of students to help with the Joplin Relief. Hearing stories about it gives me goosebumps. 10. Missouri State volunteers have also taken numerous trips to build homes for the unfortunate. I can't wait to get involved in all of the community service work that the school is offering.

Ten Things I Love Thursday: Fall 2012 Runway Edition
I can honestly say that I was impressed by this Fall's 2012 Runway designs. I'm not much of a fan of Marc Jacobs. I mean, his bags, watches, and shoes are to die for. But his clothing has always been just a little too extreme for my liking. I fell in love with these coats the minute I saw them especially the one on the left. I love the funky print. And don't even ask what was up with those hats... I have no idea what goes through that mans head.. but it works for him. View these pieces here & here.
I seriously think that Orla Kiely's Pre-Fall/Winter Collection is her best one yet. There isn't a single piece of clothing that I wouldn't kill to have hanging up in my closet. I love how in mustard yellow and navy blue is this season. Mostly because they're my two favorite colors. View these pieces here & here.

I have never been impressed by Pedro Lourenço. NEVER. But this season, I was pleasantly surprised. The patterns were interesting and unique, and I really liked that. And come on, isn't that coat gorgeous? View the complete collection here.
Charlotte Ronson, may I just declare my undying love for you please? Look at that green dress. If that were in my possesion, I would literally wear it everyday for the rest of my life. Ronson is my fashion inspiration. I only hope to live up to her achievements one day. View this collection here.
Stella McCartney's collection was absolutely gorgeous. I love this shade of blue and the large triangular collar is so bold and daring. The peplum tops have really been popping up this season and I honestly couldn't be more pleased. It's very old fashion, but still so modern. View this collection here.

10 Things I Love Thursday: Dorm Room Edition
When picturing my dorm room, these pictures (found on pinterest) were my inspiration. Thank Heavens my roommate has similar taste in decorating as me. I love having images and posters all over the wall. And isn't that Beatles poster awesome? Also, Christmas lights set an awesome tone for bedrooms. That's my opinion.
Half of the stuff I have for my dorm room right now is stuff that I've made myself. The plastic drawers, bulletin boards, wall decor. I think it helps give so much personality to the incredibly dull room you have to live in for 10 months. I plan on making all of these projects. Well, I'm trying to convince my dad into making the pencil holder for me, but seriously? How cool is that? You can see these projects here, here, & here.
Some things you just cant make, right? I keep telling myself that. In reality, I just don't want to get up off the couch and make them. But that's okay! Because why make something you can buy...? Yeah, I know. I'm just being lazy. Oh well. If I can't get my dad to make me a pencil holder, I'm buying these awesome bulletin ones. That's just a brilliant idea and I should hug whoever came up with it. I also love pillows... like a lot. This tribal-aztec print pillow is beautiful and I don't care if it doesn't match any of my bedding. And who doesn't love maps... and lamps? Now put them together? Smart, right? And a feather mobile? I'm going crazy over here. I think that would be easier to make than I'm anticipating. But I could never make it look that good. See these here, here, here, & here.

10 Things I Love Thursday: Paint Chip Edition
I love paint chips. There is literally nothing that you can't do with a couple of paint chips. I use them to decorate, journal, and of course to paint. I would like to share a couple of my favorite paint chip projects. Maybe you'll find something to inspire you. I already have two new DIY projects planned now. Keep an eye out for those. These two projects from ABeautifulMess stole my heart. As soon as I saw how Elsie displayed her jewelry, I went to Wal-Mart and pick up some purple swatches for myself. See information on these two projects here & here.
I don't know about you guys, but my parents rent our house. Which means white walls, everywhere. I love these two projects because they're so abstract and eye catching. Which is a must-have in such a boring home. These two projects can be seen here & here.
Everyone knows that the coffee table is the focal point of a family or living room. Nobody should settle for a plain wooden table, well, unless you're family is like mine. This project from ATypicalTypeA is brilliant and perfect for getting a little color into the room. And why not pair it with these awesome coasters from Home&Garden. Or don't, actually I would stick with one or the other.
Who else loves banners? I LOVE banners. I think they are the greatest invention since Oscillating Fans. These banners from DesignSponge and Grace&Light is awesome because they don't limit you to one thing. You can use tons of different shapes, colors, and words. And who doesn't appreciate endless possibilities?
These are two projects that I am especially excited to try. I'm leaving for college in a little more than a month and I am probably the most unorganized person in the entire universe. Little things like this are life savers to my forgettable mind. This project by CountryLiving is perfect because its so simple and it saves tons of space on your desk or wherever you might want it. Thinking vertical is key when you're living in a box. I plan on making this calendar for my roommate and I because, well, it's just adorable. And I know I cant buy one of these beauties at target.
What is your favorite thing to do with a paint chip?
